Christmas Gift Guide

Its that time of year again and unless you were extremely organised, I’m going to assume that not everyone is finished with their Christmas shopping.

Now, I know that some people can be very tricky to buy for, including the make-up monsters among us who seem to have it all! So I thought I’d put together a list of gifts and stocking fillers that will surely make someone very happy on Christmas day.

First on the list is probably my favourite, the Peaches and Cream bundles. They have 4 Christmas Tree Bundles (along with other amazing sets) ranging from £10 to £20 and are amazing value for money! The £10 bundle includes the No.02 Lash, a Nude pigment and a Peaches Eyeshadow Primer saving you £5.85. The £15 Brush bundle includes the No.05 eyelashes, a Nude pigment, a Peaches kabuki bronzer brush and a Peaches Eyeshadow Primer saving you £4.85. The £15 Trio bundle includes the Peaches pigments Nude, Famous, Posh and a Peaches Eyeshadow Primer saving you £7.85. and finally the £20 bundle includes the No.02 Lash, a No.05 lash, Nude, Willow, Posh and a Peaches Eyeshadow Primer saving you £10.65. They all come gift wrapped in an adorable Christmas tree box perfect for stockings! I love the products for Peaches, the pigments are to die for, I can’t imagine any make-up lover being anything but delighted with these lovely little gift sets.

Next on the list is the Make-Up Revolution Products. This brand is known for its amazing quality products at extremely affordable prices! This brand is becoming more and more popular within the beauty community so I’d get your hands on it quick before prices start to rise! Their eyeshadow palettes and highlighters are some of their most popular products and with the prices only going as high as £8 for a shadow palette of 32 colours, who can complain? The quality is amazing and right now if you spend over £8 in Superdrug you get one of their Salvation palettes for free!! So why not try their Highlighting palettes (£8), or one of the Shadow palettes (£6-8) for yourself or treat someone this Christmas to gorgeous products at awesome prices!

Next is the awesome duo that Urban Decay have on their website right now. They are selling a two pack of their original FULL SIZE setting sprays – which retail for £21 each – at £28! That’s saving you £14 and you’re technically paying £7 for the second bottle, that a third of the price! Let me tell you, these sparks are amazing if you want longer lasting make-up, and they last a lifetime, I can’t remember the last time I had to restock mine.

Another Urban Decay product and no guesses as to what it is… Yep, it’s Gwen Stefani’s absolute masterpiece collaboration with Urban Decay! Her gorgeous palette launched in stores in the UK on the 3rd of December (it is also available on line). This is a limited addition palette so I’d grab it before it is gone. It is a gorgeous mix of neutrals and jewel tones, perfect for the newbie or the junkie! This is by far my favourite palette Urban Decay has EVER released. (Retails for £40)

Lastly is something I have been after for ages, but after I found out the extortionate price of shipping from Sephora I had to hold off until I went on holiday to Florida – which, subsequently when I got there I was told it was now an online exclusive *cue emotional breakdown*
It is of course the famous “Champagne Pop” by Jaclyn Hill in collaboration with BECCA cosmetics. It is described on Sephora as “A creamy powder highlighter that absorbs and reflects light for the ultimate natural glow”. This highlighter is a soft white gold with pinky peach undertones and has a beautiful highlighting affect. I was elated when I found out I could get a hold of this on Space NK Apothecary for £30 and FREE delivery! So lets just say this was an early Christmas gift form me, to me.. I think any make-up lover you hold near and dear would be over the moon if they were to unwrap this incredible highlighter on Christmas day.

I really hope you have found this little Christmas list helpful if you have any tricky friends or family to buy for or just fancy treating yourself. I have linked the websites for each of the products to make shopping that little bit easier. Also, Hemera Visuals have done a fab gift guide for gifts available from local business in and around D&G which I have had a little mention in!

I hope everyone has a lovely Christmas time and enjoys opening their special gifts this year!
